Terms of Service
Effective October 8, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Remembure. They cover the Remembure iPhone app, the phone calls, your journal, and your subscription. Please read them. If you don't agree, please don't use Remembure.
1. Who can use Remembure
- You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States.
- You must use a phone number that is yours, or that you are authorized to give us, and you must be able to receive calls on it.
- Remembure is currently available as an iPhone app. The website describes the service; accounts, sign-in, and payment happen in the app.
2. What Remembure is, and what it is not
Remembure places short phone calls to you at times you choose. The voice you talk to is an artificial intelligence, not a person. After each call, Remembure turns the conversation into a journal entry for you.
Remembure is a memory and journaling companion. It is not therapy, counseling, medical, legal, or financial advice, and it is not an emergency or crisis service. It cannot call for help for you. If you are in danger or thinking about hurting yourself, call 911, or call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) right now.
AI can be wrong. Calls and journal entries may contain mistakes, mishear names, or misstate what you said. Check anything that matters, and edit your entries in the app.
3. You agree to receive our calls
By creating an account and choosing call days and times, you give us your express consent to place automated calls, using an artificial voice, to the phone number you gave us, on the schedule you set. These calls are the service you signed up for; they are not marketing calls, and consent is not a condition of buying anything else.
You can change your call days and times, or stop calls, at any time in the app (You tab) or by canceling your membership. You can also tell Remembure during a call that you want to stop, then update your schedule in the app.
4. Recording and transcripts
Calls are recorded and transcribed so we can create your journal and improve your experience. Recordings and transcripts are handled by our service providers as described in the Privacy Policy.
You consent to this recording. If anyone else can hear your side of the call (for example on speakerphone), you are responsible for making sure they know and agree before you take the call. Please don't use Remembure while others can overhear unless they are comfortable with that.
5. Your content
What you say on calls, and the journal entries made from them, is yours. You give Remembure permission to process it, store it, and share it with the providers we use, only to run the service for you (see the Privacy Policy). We do not sell your content or use it for advertising.
Be thoughtful about what you share about other people. They are not on the call and have not agreed to it.
6. Free week, plans, and billing
- Free week: new members get a free trial of 7 days or 3 completed calls, whichever comes first. A payment method is required to start.
- After the free week your plan starts automatically. The Quarterly plan is $29.99 for your first 3 months, then $12.99 per month. The Monthly plan is $12.99 per month. Plans renew automatically each period until you cancel.
- Reminders: we send reminders 2 days before your free week ends and on the last day, by notification (if you allow them) and by email. Reminders are a courtesy; your plan terms apply even if a reminder doesn't reach you.
- Canceling: you can cancel any time in the app under You → Membership. Cancel before your free week ends and you are not charged. If you cancel later, your plan stays active through the end of the period you already paid for, then stops.
- Payments are processed by Stripe in a secure checkout opened from the app. Purchases are not made through Apple, and Apple is not a party to these terms. Taxes may apply.
- Refunds: charges are generally non-refundable, but if a charge was unintended, contact us at hello@remembure.com within 7 days and we will review it in good faith. Nothing here limits refund rights you have under law.
- We may change prices with advance notice. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
7. Acceptable use
- Don't use Remembure to break the law, harass or threaten anyone, or impersonate someone else.
- Don't enter a phone number that isn't yours or that you aren't authorized to use.
- Don't try to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or extract the instructions or voices behind the service.
- We may suspend or end an account that does any of these things.
8. Your account and deleting your data
Keep your sign-in details private. You can delete your account in the app under Settings → Request account deletion, which cancels your subscription right away and starts removal of your journal and records. You can also email hello@remembure.com.
9. Third-party services
Remembure relies on other companies to place calls, convert speech, generate voices and text, process payments, and store data. They are listed in our Privacy Policy. Their outages or errors can affect the service, and we are not responsible for their independent practices.
10. Disclaimers and limits
Remembure is provided as is and as available. We don't promise that calls will always connect on time, that transcripts or entries will be error-free, or that the service will be uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Remembure is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $100 if you paid nothing). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11. Changes, law, and contact
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app or by email, and continuing to use Remembure after the change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
